NoBS Member/Photo of the Month: Warne Noyce
You all know him as combine pilot here on the NoBS forum. This month he's also our member of the month as well as the lucky recipient of the Photo of the Month honor. Here are a few words from Warne:
Wow it's an honor to have our photo chosen for photo of the month. Thank you!
First of all I want everyone to know when I say "WE" I mean my wife Nicole and I. She shoots almost as much as I do and everything we produce is a combo of our collaboration.
Our studio has been incredibly busy this year so far. We have over doubled our grads/seniors to 80. We just finished all the images and album from a wedding in the Dominican Republic back in Feb and are getting ready to shoot another destination wedding on our west coast in the town of Tofino.
We are working on 3 different cd projects for different entertainers right at the moment as well.
As a lot of you know I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer back before Christmas and have undergone 2 surgeries to remove all of it! I think this has inspired me more than ever to create images that are super dramatic.
We just returned from out national PPOC (Professional Photographers of Canada) conference where we were fortunate enough to have 3 images accepted in Print competition. Two with merit.
Our image "calm before the storm" Was judges choice, best in class wedding portrait, and was also selected for the loan collection.
Pretty crazy for a fella who started out just over 4 yrs ago with a 4mp point and shoot!
This forum has been amazing in helping me become the photographer I have become. I still feel so inadequate amongst all the "heavies" here. Everyday I see posts that inspire and motivate me.
We have been getting a lot of emails regarding speaking or putting on some kind of workshop. This is something we would like to do and are pondering when and where! We are hoping to make it to Nashville in Nov. We would love to finally meet all of our American counterparts!

About the Photo of the Month
This was a session with her and her little brother. She was a natural poser. We have so many great shots of her. I used the NOBS pastel action for PP.
