NoBS Member/Photo of the Month: Dawn Schubert
February's Member of the Month and winner of the Photo of the Month is Dawn _ellen (Dawn Schubert). Here in her own words is the story behind Dawn's image as well as the latest news on her studio.
"Thanks to my NoBS family.
I shot this image at Danny’s workshop/get together, for this reason, as much as it pains me to say this I feel like Danny deserves most of the credit.
We had such a great time learning Danny’s lighting and posing techniques.
Danny and Dianne are always willing to answer any question, they are passionate about photography and they love to share their success with others.

When Danny was sharing the lighting and posing for this particular shot with the group of photographers. I loved the drama of the lighting and the blue background and sofa and I knew exactly how I would compose and crop this shot. I also knew I was going to grunge it up a bit with texture; it just seems to work with this image. I really enjoyed working with this model she is real and beautiful inside and out. I would have loved to spend a few more hours with her.
Now that both my broken wrists are almost completely healed, our studio is back in the swing of things. We are very excited to debut our wedding photography at a local bridal faire on March 20th. We plan on shooting a limited amount of weddings a year while we continue to build the High School Senior photography side of the business. We have big plans for 2010. We want to say thanks to our NoBS family for all your support and inspiration. We wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for you.
