Pindora's Box update….from Mike Long and Mama Shan

Launched at the NoBS Inferno in Nashville last month, Pindora's Box is now available, and feedback so far is an overwhelming 'AWESOME!'

NoBS member, Bob Bossinger (darkhunny) got to grips with the set immediately, and worked on a wonderful image of a baby the night he got the set. A day later, he'd sold enough to pay for Pindora already!

Mike Long also used Pindora during his recent commercial shoot for Sandy Puc and Animoto. The Animoto shoot is still top secret (watch for your January Rangefinder!) but we can say that Mike shot Sandy all day, then spent 15 hours straight retouching the final ad, and used workflow actions from Pindora along with elements of the virtual room.

Pindora also featured heavily in the other shoot he and Sandy worked on - for her upcoming 2010 tour. The pirate themed shots relied heavily on Pindora workflow actions and techniques.

Pindora's Box is filled with tools and training to take your photography and post processing to a much higher level. Although the focus is on pin-up photography and illustration, the tools and training provided can easily be applied to your regular retouching workflow.

Pindora's Virtual Room Template is almost alive, as Pindora's VR Actions will quickly let you configure the room in four layouts, Portrait with one wall, Landscape with 3 walls, Landscape with 1 large back wall, and Landscape with 2 mirror side walls and 1 back wall. Template is 8x12 inches 300 ppi (2400x3600 pixels) in Portrait and 18x12 inches 300 ppi in Landscape (5400x3600 pixels).

With the click of a button you can change the colors of the walls, add wallpapers, floors, and molding. You can also choose to have floor tiles, wood, checkers, and/or texture. The various wall and floor textures combine beautifully with the color attributes you click from the Actions.

The template also has its own movable spot light and ambient light settings, controlled by clicking another Action button. It's amazing and so much fun! A myriad of room backgrounds and lighting combinations can be customized and rendered from the Pindora's Virtual Room.

Our training shows how to set up lighting, background, and camera settings for a pin-up model shoot to create photos for the pin-up genre. Complete training and examples of how to apply the Pindora Flow Actions to expedite various stylistic approaches to rendering a pin-up as a photo or a stylistic illustration. Various methods of extraction to import subject into other photos, scenes and into Pindora's Virtual Room --There is over 7 hours of training on 42 mp4 videos on the DVD.. Check out a few of the Video demos to see a smidgeon of what pops out of Pindora's Box - Glamouring Edition!

Purchase of this product also gives you an exclusive invite and FREE membership to the Pindora Support Site, where you can upload your Pindora's to share, show off, and get feedback. The support site gives you a direct connection to Mike and Mama and access to resources created for Pindora.
