- Pupils "ok so I did this headshot yesterday and in the past this problem has cropped up as well so now I want to fix it. In every video I see the photograph has all the ambient light shut off in the studio..every demo I have seen is always darkly lit as well..just the lights from the studio strobes...in order to not have a color cast and stuff right? " Pupils
- She Wants The Crappy Photos! "I did this wedding a couple of months ago and provided the photographs on disk. The bride has sent me an email today saying how much she loves the photos BUT there are none of the shots we did of her sitting down on the grass and she just cannot stop thinking about those photos. Well, I didn't include them because I didn't think they were as good as the others - approximately 200 of them." WWYD?
- I Wanna Bail... "So, I am scheduled to do a Wedding August 6 and I meet with the bride/groom for our last meeting today. I was 'casually' informed that she is having a 'friend' be a second shooter for her wedding and proceeded to give me a list of the shots her other photographer was taking for her portfolio. I was a little upset as it clearly states in my contract that I am the only hired professional at the event." BAIL
- Major Client Problem "The client's mom (not herself!!) called yesterday to say that they needed us to photograph her bridal session on a Sunday or Monday, because she gets off work at 4:00 and can't have hair and makeup completed in time for her shoot at the appointment time. I stood my ground and mentioned our hours again. She asked for a referral for bridal portraits, and said she was "very dissapointed" in me. The catch here is that I rent my studio from this client and her husband who own the realty company here!" Problem
